And now is the time we continue to make merry on these most sacred of days as we soak up as much as we can from the time that is left in this year before crossing the bridge into the new.
And this New Year is going to bring big adventures and a lot of changes for us. So for now, we’re visiting with loved ones, we’re relishing in the quiet, we’re moving slowly and thoughtfully and drinking in all this year has left to over.
We’re cobbling together sandwiches with leftovers. We’re watching old Christmas movies while working on jigsaw puzzles. We’re going on long walks and drinking in the fresh air only to race home for hot chocolates. We’re dancing in the kitchen and making Christmas cocktails.
We’re taking a breath, as we stand on the cusp of what has been and what has yet to be.
