Through Different Eyes

The past few days I’ve been planningĀ for a class I’ll be teaching in September. I have my own ideas about this project and where I want to take it, but I also don’t want to hinder anyone’s creativity.

Everyone sees the world differently through their own eyes. I’m excited to see how each person approaches the task at hand and what their final outcome will be.

Tomorrow…

It is only Tuesday and already this week has taken off like a kite dipping and diving in a strong wind.

I had a little post, I was working on for you, but that will have to wait as I am teaching another chemical photography class tomorrow afternoon and I have been busy with my final preparations for that.

I am so excited to see what they will come up with. We will be making photograms, first in the style of Man Ray and then I will have them create a digital collage from the work of 3 photographers I like and intertwined within that, will be slices from one of my favorite poems. The digital collage piece will be printed on to acetate and then we will make a photogram from it.

So, much is whirring in my head, I am finding it hard to find a little peace, but, I like staying busy. Off, I go, as my kite just caught another updraft…
